From the Archives!

This Portland Beer Podcast episode, as well as the two episodes before it — 74 and 75, were all thought to be lost in a computer mishap.

All three of these episodes were recently recovered and even though they are older – they have only improved during the time that they were cellared.

In this episode of the Portland Beer Podcast our Host Steven Shomler visits with Alex Acker Jing-A Brewing Co. from Beijing, China.

This episode was recorded the summer of 2016 during the Oregon Brewers Festival.

Baijiu (Bye-Joe)

During this episode Alex talks about “Baijiu.”

Baijiu is a Chinese spirit that happens to be distilled right here in our neck of the woods by Vinn Distillery.

Steven recently recorded an episode of the Portland Culinary Podcast with Michelle Ly telling the Vinn Distillery story.

Here is a link to that episode – www.portlandculinarypodcast.com/michelle-ly-vinn-distillery-portland-culinary-podcast-episode-27
